| Description: | We are a loving family with two girls who will be 4 and 2 this summer and expecting our third child in August. Mom works part-time from home for an au pair agency and needs help in the afternoons. The ideal hours would be 1:30-5:30 Monday through Thursday or Friday, but the schedule can work around your availability. Room & board, a cell phone and wireless internet access are all provided in exchange for up to 20 hours of care and any additional hours will be compensated at $8 an hour if you are available and interested. We will welcome you as a member of the family, just like our numerous exchange students and au pairs who have lived with us over the years. You are welcome to speak with them for references if you like. French or Spanish speaking is a HUGE plus as the girls have picked up a bit of Spanish from their au pair and Mom teaches French. If you are a student, we live walking distance from Haverford College, and within a 5-minute drive of Bryn Mawr College, Harcum, Rosemont, Villanova, St. Joe's and a 30-minute drive to Drexel and UPenn. If you don't drive, no problem. We live very close to both Ardmore and Haverford R5 train stations and several bus routes along Lancaster Ave are at the end of our block. The Route 100 is also about a 20 minute walk away. We would love a start date as early as mid-July, but can wait for the right candidate till late August or early September.
