Host & Care connects students looking for free accommodations with families looking for care.
We bring together people of all ages and from all parts of the world. Our members exchange a spare bedroom for few hours of helping out. Or, they host each other in their homes when they travel. They save thousands of dollars and enrich their lives. Our members come from all walks of life: they are single and married, young and old, single parents and pet owners, ESL tutors and ESL learners, but they all have one thing in common: they are willing to help themselves and to help others.

Host & Care is a perfect conduit for families needing some help with children, their aging parents, their homes, their pets or their travel. It is also a great resource for young people from around the world who love to travel and immerse themselves in a foreign culture. For some of them, it is just a trip. For others, it might be the beginning of a new life. Global financial crisis, unemployment, home foreclosures, credit tightening and shortage of cash do not prevent our members from having the time of their life. Why should it? Our members keep their money since all our exchanges are on non cash basis.

Host & Care was established in Pennington, NJ in September, 2008.

Host & Care was founded by Lidia Nash, CPA, CITP, a successful businesswoman and family gal.
A travel fiend by nature, Lidia has visited over 40 countries! Her most recent trips involved crossing the continental divide in Panama and zip lining in the jungles of Costa Rica. Aside from all her globe trotting, Lidia is at home in Pennington, NJ with her hubby Jeffery and two teenagers, Kimmie and Andrew – and we can’t forget her ancient but going strong 22-year old cat and chubby Yorkie pup that complete the family.
